Accountant Trainee

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accountant Trainee to join our dynamic team at Agility Resourcing. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality services to our members.
This is an excellent opportunity for an individual seeking experience in a finance department and wanting to progress a career in Accountancy. You will be supported with time and funding to study towards a recognized Chartered Accountancy qualification, along with mentoring from more senior qualified accountants in the team.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the Finance Manager with producing management accounts and budgets
- Post invoices and maintain accurate financial records
- Perform bank reconciliations and maintain internal controls
- Liaise between departments and work with customers to resolve financial queries
- Coordinate the purchase ledger and rent accounting systems
- Prepare payments and post journals
- Provide ICT support and administration
- 2:1 or above in Accountancy, Maths, Economics, or Business
- Proficient spreadsheet and ICT skills
- Strong numeracy, literacy, and accuracy skills
- Ability to work to tight deadlines
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Commitment to high standards of service delivery
- Professional approach and can-do attitude
- Salary £18k
- Study support package
- 22 days leave plus 3 days concessionary
- 36 hour working week
