About the Role

We are currently recruiting for an Apprentice - Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our Engineering team at Warburtons. As an Apprentice, you will be part of a structured 4-year programme, learning through a combination of on-the-job training and working with our training provider (MGTS).

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for maintaining and repairing machinery and equipment, conducting fault finding and diagnosis of issues, and working with our training provider to develop your skills and knowledge. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your analytical skills and problem-solving abilities, as well as learn about food and safety legislation.

Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of £21,500 per annum, rising each year of your Apprenticeship, as well as a range of benefits including 25 days paid holiday per year, life assurance, and a contributory pension scheme. You will also receive a dedicated mentor throughout your Apprenticeship, continued development and 121 training designed especially for you.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Level 5 or above in Maths, a Level 4 or above in English, and a Level 4 or above in either science or ICT
  • Able to be flexible around work patterns, including shifts, weekends and evenings (from year 3 onwards)
  • Excellent analytical skills and enjoy problem solving with a logical and structured approach
  • Passion, drive and commitment to complete a 4-year apprenticeship with a genuine interest in Engineering
