Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Recra Consulting. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our equipment and facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with Planned and Unplanned Maintenance: Collaborate with the engineering team to perform routine maintenance tasks, troubleshoot equipment issues, and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
  • Support Engineering Team: Provide assistance to the engineering team in closing out corrective actions, ensuring timely completion of tasks, and maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Lead by Example: Demonstrate excellent health and safety practices, providing guidance to visitors and contractors, and promoting a culture of safety within the team.
  • Deputise for Engineering Manager: Assume responsibility for the engineering team in the absence of the Engineering Manager, ensuring continuity of operations and maintenance activities.
  • Planned Preventative Maintenance: Conduct daily Planned Preventative Maintenance actions to prevent equipment failures and ensure optimal performance.
  • Support Site Engineering Teams: Collaborate with site engineering teams to ensure the effective operation and maintenance of machinery, equipment, and engineering facilities.
  • Attend to Unplanned Breakdowns: Respond to call-outs for unplanned breakdowns, record downtime, and implement corrective actions to minimize future occurrences.
  • Update Maintain-X System: Accurately update the Maintain-X system with all jobs, ensuring accurate records and efficient tracking of maintenance activities.
  • Analyse Departmental Needs: Identify departmental needs and develop effective solutions to support business objectives.
  • Support Project Work: Collaborate with the department to implement business objectives, exploring and proposing solutions to maintenance issues.
  • Update Records: Maintain accurate records for the engineering department, as required.
Shift Pattern and Job Details

The successful candidate will work a 3 On & 2 Off pattern, with a shift duration of 6am-6pm. This is a full-time position, with a salary of £22.71 per hour.
