Job Title: Health, Safety and Environmental Advisor

Contract: 12-month contract initially, with potential for extension

Location: Hybrid

Salary: PAYE £21.82 - £23.59 OR Umbrella £29.70 - £32.11

SRG is partnering with a Global Biopharmaceutical company to find a Health, Safety and Environmental Advisor to support their busy team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of an innovative organisation, supporting the operations as they prepare to move to a state-of-the-art facility in the near future.

You will play a key role in ensuring the transition of HSE programmes and compliance in the lead up to and throughout the move. You will work alongside the wider HSE and FM teams, supporting the gradual decommissioning of the current site from a HSE perspective, as well as the implementation of the occupancy plan for the new site, including establishing all HSE systems.

Responsibilities will include:

• Development and updating of local health, safety and environmental procedures
• Delivery of local workshops to support company policies and procedures
• Coordinating and attending meetings to represent HSE systems and compliance across the UK and Ireland
• Supporting health, safety and environmental audits and assessments
• Ensuring regulatory licenses are maintained and kept up to date
• Liaising with safety and environmental representatives
• Supporting the risk management system, including risk assessments and control measures
• Supporting the environmental management system, including the impacts and aspects register and targets
• Supporting the vigilance systems, including life-safety systems

Requirements:

• NEBOSH Certificate minimum, with IOSH accreditation at affiliate level
• Preference for NEBOSH Diploma and/or Environmental qualification
• Ideally, a degree or higher
• Experience in a similar role, with relocation a plus but not essential
• Self-starter with a risk management approach to health, safety and environment, able to provide effective decisions and communicate with stakeholders
