FTTH Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused FTTH Engineer to join our team at Comex 2000 UK Ltd. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality fibre broadband services to residential customers in Oxfordshire.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues alike. You will also possess strong problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to resolving engineering obstacles.

Estimated Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

In this role, you will be required to install fibre broadband services to residential premises, including external and internal cabling work. You will also be responsible for working at heights up to 15 metres, using ladders and Telegraph poles as necessary.

• Self-auditing work to ensure it meets all company and client standards
• Maintenance of a clean and tidy environment at all times
• Prepared to work in all weather conditions

Skills and Qualifications:

• A Full UK Driving License is essential due to the field-based nature of the role, candidates must have held this license for 1 year and have a maximum of 6 points.
• Full training will be provided to the right candidate, however candidates with experience working on the BT Openreach network and hold NRSWA Street Works qualifications are desirable.
• Be able to communicate effectively and professionally with customers and clients
• Proactive in the resolution of engineering obstacles, with liaison with Team Managers
• Ability to take direction from management and carry out works in an efficient and timely manner
• Dedication to delivering high levels of customer service
• Flexibility to undertake works outside of core working hours
• Competent in using technology, including devices and apps
