We are seeking an Ecologist Specialist to work on a range of exciting projects based out of Cardiff. The role involves conducting surveys for protected species, including bats, badgers, and GCN.

The successful candidate will have experience in working within an environmental consultancy and writing reports to a high standard. They will also be required to lead bat surveys for residential and development projects.

As an Environmental Consultant with Penguin Recruitment, you will be part of a brilliant multi-disciplinary team that provides a range of services including ecology, arboriculture, land management, and sustainability.

The estimated salary for this position is £28,500-£36,500 per year. You will receive excellent training to work towards protected species licenses and enjoy uniform and boot allowance plus professional memberships paid for.

  1. Report writing including PEAs, PRAs, and BNG Assessments.
  2. Leading bat surveys for residential and development projects.
