Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Systems Specialist to join our team at Sodexo. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the integrity of our electrical systems and maintaining a safe and well-maintained environment.

Main Responsibilities
  • Carry out repairs and preventative maintenance on all electrical systems within the establishment, provided you have the necessary training.
  • Maintain accurate records of all preventative maintenance and repair work performed. Report in detail any substandard or defective equipment.
  • Perform scheduled maintenance service on electrical systems and fixtures to ensure optimal functionality and safety.
  • Use appropriate trade skills for the installation, testing, examination, and maintenance works within the prison.
  • Assist and support both the Maintenance Team Leader and allied trades in their tasks.
Requirements
  • Demonstrable knowledge and experience of fault finding, installation and repairs.
  • Knowledge of commercial electrical repairs on HVAC, AHU, controls and BMS systems an advantage.
  • Previous experience of testing, inspection and PAT testing.
  • Proven experience of working with a Health and Safety culture.
  • Ability to work on own initiative.
  • Demonstrable experience of working with schedules and deadlines. Qualified to 18th Edition (BS 7671).
