Broadcast Radio Technician

- Participate in an on-call rota to provide 24/7 fault response to maintain service continuity
- Complete planned works and maintenance on a range of systems and networks
- Respond to faults and service outages and complete corrective maintenance in line with Arqiva standards, policies and procedures
- Support upgrades and modifications to existing RF systems and networks following agreed instructions
- Maintain accurate records, documentation and reporting of actions taken
- Complete testing and measurements to ensure compliance with regulatory, industry and customer requirements
- Engage with customers and build positive working relationships
Working Environment:
As a Field Technician with Arqiva, you will be working in a fast-paced environment with a variety of systems and networks. You will be responsible for ensuring the seamless operation of these systems, which are critical to the delivery of television and radio services to the public.
Requirements:
- A clean driving license
- Some knowledge of the development, testing and maintenance of software/hardware for Broadcast, IP Network, IOT or corporate application depending on technical area of expertise
- Working knowledge of systems and equipment relevant to role such as RF systems, DVB, Analogue Radio, DAB, Microwaves, Sat Comms, Data Networks, Telecoms etc.
- Working knowledge of the principles of power supplies, environmental controls, analogue and digital electronics
- Working knowledge of and able to apply Safety, Health and Environment legislation, policies and procedures

Total Package:
- £34,000 plus base salary
- 5% Shift Allowance
- Paed Overtime
