Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Academic Mentor to join our team at EdEx. As an Academic Mentor, you will play a vital role in supporting the development of our students and contributing to the success of our school.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work in your preferred Key Stage, delivering creative and engaging lessons to students
  • Support the Class Teacher in providing whole-class support and targeted interventions
  • Run small group and one-to-one sessions to support students with mild SEN (Special Educational Needs)
  • Collaborate with the teaching team to develop and implement effective learning strategies
Requirements:
  • Graduate with a strong academic background and a passion for teaching and learning
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, teachers, and parents
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and training
