In our Rail Engineering Technician role, you will have the chance to work on real-life projects within the Siemens Mobility workplace while pursuing a formal qualification. You will be following an apprenticeship standard ST0318, focusing on Traction and Rolling Stock Pathway.

The programme structure includes day release at college, allowing you to gain theoretical knowledge while applying it in practical situations. By the end of the programme, you will be equipped with the necessary skills and hands-on experience to kickstart your professional career.

As part of the team, you will engage in various activities, such as application and mobile platform development, mechanical and electrical fault finding, and providing sustainable rolling stock solutions for all areas of rail transportation.

We are seeking innovative and inquisitive candidates who can demonstrate essential skills and attributes. This includes achieving or being on track to achieve at least 5 GCSE's grade 4 or above, including Maths and English Language.

Estimated salary: £16,000 plus an annual bonus, making the total estimated annual salary around £18,800 per year.
