Job Summary

Quality Service Recruitment is seeking a reliable and experienced Class 1 driver to join our team. As a Class 1 driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods across the country, working with our clients to ensure timely and efficient delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate a Class 1 HGV vehicle, safely and efficiently transporting goods to various destinations
  • Work with clients to understand their delivery requirements and ensure timely and efficient delivery
  • Unload double-decker trailers, requiring a high level of physical fitness and attention to detail
  • Meet and exceed client expectations, providing excellent customer service

Requirements:

  • Current HGV Class 1 license
  • CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) qualification
  • Digital tachograph card
  • At least 6 months of experience as a Class 1 driver

Working Hours:

As a Class 1 driver, you will be required to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends. You will be expected to work independently, with minimal supervision, and be able to adapt to changing circumstances.

Benefits:

  • Paying £15.00 per hour, with the potential to increase to £15.92 per hour
  • 28 days' holiday per year, pro rata
