About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Design Engineer to join our team at Anglian Water Group Ltd. as a Senior Civil Engineer. This is an exciting opportunity to work on water and wastewater projects, utilizing your expertise in civil engineering to deliver high-quality designs and solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Design and Development: Produce civil designs, calculations, and specifications for water and wastewater projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  2. Project Management: Work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the required standards.
  3. Health and Safety: Drive excellence in health and safety by identifying and mitigating hazards, and ensuring compliance with Alliance CDM procedures.
  4. Site Visits and Assessments: Conduct site visits to assess asset conditions, gather data, and inform design solutions.
  5. Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with stakeholders, including operations, contractors, and suppliers, to ensure effective communication and project delivery.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of HNC/HND in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in civil engineering, with a focus on water and wastewater projects.
  • Strong technical skills, including proficiency in MS Office and relevant engineering design software.
  • Excellent reporting and writing skills, with the ability to analyze data and provide insightful recommendations.
