Job Summary

We are excited to announce a rare opportunity for a Support Worker to join our team at The Lighthouse in Lancashire. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to children and adolescents with mental health needs.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
  • Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to provide holistic care and support to children and adolescents.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate treatment programs and behavioral programs for children under the supervision of a registered nurse and a psychologist.
  • Participate in all aspects of care and plan and organize therapeutic activities for children.
  • Comply with policies and procedures operating within the service.
Key Objectives
  • To be an active member of the multi-disciplinary team, adhering to and enhancing professional standards of care.
  • To maintain a holistic approach to patient care.
Requirements
  • You must either have or be working towards an NVQ level 3 qualification.
  • Previous experience in working with children and young people is desirable.
  • A passion for working with children and young people, and working collaboratively to improve their lives.
  • To be a team player, as working successfully as part of a team is important to the success of this role.
  • Commitment to upholding the highest standards of care, professionalism, and ethical conduct.
