Job Title: Specialist Teaching Support

We are working with a large mainstream primary school in Hull that urgently needs a Teaching Assistant specialising in working with children with SEN diagnoses. The role involves providing 1-1 support for a pupil with high emotional needs, helping them navigate their day successfully and thrive in a classroom environment.

The Role:

You will work from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday, term time only. This is a specific long-term role in a well-regarded school in Hull.

As a specialist teaching assistant, you will not only support the individual pupil but also assist with intervention work and manage behaviours across the classroom, ensuring all pupils meet their curriculum standards.

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualification
  • Previous experience working with children
  • Willingness to apply for a Child Workforce DBS
  • SEN experience
  • UK resident
