Operations & Delivery Manager Role

We are seeking an experienced Operations & Delivery Manager to join our team at I Love My Job Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring timely and cost-efficient delivery for all retail customer orders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive operational excellence within your area, identifying areas for improvement and maximising efficiencies
  • Work closely with DCs & 3PLs, setting KPIs and ensuring OTIF delivery
  • Manage and track all live projects from initial pitch through to end delivery, ensuring all agreed timelines are met
  • Enhance sales margins through value engineering across the entire end-to-end process, from project commencement to final delivery
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including internal teams, factories, retailers, and warehouses
  • Manage and mentor the Delivery team

Requirements:

  • Experience in a fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) environment, delivering to major UK retailers
  • Good knowledge of project management and/or continuous improvement methodologies
  • Good working knowledge of FOB and ex-works delivery
  • Line management or team leadership experience
  • Experience of moving stock to and from global factories and warehouse locations
  • Background working with large volumes and at pace
  • Excellent relationship builder both internally and externally
