Job Title: Commercial Quantity Surveyor - Senior Consultant
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Eden Scott. As a Senior Consultant, you will play a key role in the commercial management of construction projects, working closely with our clients to deliver successful outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the commercial function within the construction phase of a project to maximize target margins.
- Lead the tender process for construction phase consultants, contractors, and suppliers, providing tender reports and recommendations to the management board.
- Prepare contract documents for major suppliers and contractors, including legal due diligence and financial close.
- Manage valuations, payments, claims, and settlement of Final Accounts.
- Contribute to the assessment, review, and mitigation of commercial and contractual risks within the project management framework.
Requirements:
- Degree or equivalent in Quantity Surveying (or similar) and at least 5 years of experience in a senior commercial consultancy role.
- Strong commercial management skills, with experience in construction project management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and stakeholders.
