Job Summary:

FPR Group is seeking a highly skilled Field Service Engineer to join our National Response Team. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality field-based technical expertise to our customers across the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to customers in the field, ensuring prompt and effective resolution of issues.
  • Conduct site visits to diagnose and repair electrical equipment, applying your knowledge of electrical engineering principles and practices.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and coordination of field-based activities.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring their needs are met.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements, applying this knowledge to improve our services and processes.

Requirements:

  • Minimum HNC or equivalent qualification in electromechanical or electrical engineering.
  • Proven experience in a field service role, with a strong understanding of customer service principles and practices.
  • Excellent technical electrical and electronics skills, with a focus on electrical bias.
  • PLC programming and PC hardware knowledge an advantage.
  • Good PC literacy and methodical approach to problem-solving.
  • Full current UK driving license.
  • Flexibility to work overtime, including weekends, as required.

  • A competitive salary of £35,000 per annum, with a realistic salary of £45,000+.
