We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Career Services Skills Instructor to join our team in Wakefield, MA or Woburn, MA.

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching specific skills to individuals in-house and in the community, developing relationships with local businesses, and creating community-based activities to promote socialization and skill development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach work skills and strategies to enhance employment opportunities
  • Develop relationships with local businesses to facilitate job placements
  • Create community-based activities to promote socialization and skill development
  • Offer personal care and assistance to individuals based on their unique needs

Requirements:

  • High School diploma required; BA degree in Human Services or related field preferred
  • At least 1 year of experience supporting adults with developmental disabilities is preferred
  • A genuine passion and commitment to supporting people with developmental disabilities is essential
  • Valid Driver's license and acceptable driving record required
  • Pass company background and reference checks
