Main Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly skilled Safety and Emergency Response Manager to join our team at New Appointments Group. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and emergency response of our clients.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement effective safety and emergency response strategies to minimize risks and ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.
  2. Lead the Emergency Responder team and coordinate client operations in emergency situations, ensuring the safety of personnel and assets.
  3. Manage and execute the operational delivery plan to meet internal and external KPIs, contractual obligations, and legal requirements.
  4. Monitor and maintain the Tunnel 24/7, 365 days a year, ensuring dedicated patrolling services are completed as per the Service Contract.
  5. Produce activity reports using the Client's DEPAN system, recording results and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
  6. Attend client assessment meetings to measure reporting and traceability, implementing corrective actions as required.
  7. Ensure monitoring, inspection, and maintenance of equipment are carried out, and risk prevention activities are performed by the FLOR Team.
  8. Complete monthly and annual monitoring and reporting requirements, including Intervention Reports and Preventative Activity Reports.
  9. Manage 'surprise' exercises in the service tunnel, ensuring safety for all technicians, and perform STTS for all teams.
  10. Maintain service levels and operational procedures to ensure continued accreditation with associated bodies and standards.
  11. Plan, develop, and manage resources to provide all services.
Requirements
  1. Must be educated to Degree level with strategic vision to develop business.
  2. Must have lived in the UK for the past 3 years.
  3. Must have a clean driving license and be able to drive to site.
  4. French speaking or a willingness to learn French terminologies/phrases.
  5. Experience working at senior level with a strong understanding of UK fire, medical, and security standards, regulations, and legislation.
  6. Strong commercial experience, managing service contracts, budgets, and P&Ls.
  7. Ability to manage multiple, complex work streams to emergency deadlines.
  8. Effective communication skills and ability to influence others at all levels.
  9. Ability to work independently, using initiative to maintain high standards.
  10. Strong IT skills, including Excel and reporting.
  11. Manage sensitive and confidential matters, ensuring high-level data protection and security at all times.
