About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Medical Imaging Technologist to join our team at Withybush General Hospital in Pembrokeshire, Wales.

As a key member of our Radiology department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality imaging services to patients using various modalities, including CT scanners, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, Ultrasound, and X-ray rooms.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in radiography and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care. They will work collaboratively with our dynamic team to ensure seamless operation and continuous improvement of our services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance patient experience and satisfaction
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient information and examination results

Requirements:

  • BSc Radiography or equivalent qualification
  • HCPC registration as a Radiographer
  • Demonstrated experience in operating and maintaining imaging equipment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Working Arrangements:

  • 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday
  • Overtime may be required during peak periods

Salary Information:

The estimated salary for this role is between £30,000 - £40,000 per annum, dependent on experience and qualifications.
