Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Kitchen/Stone Fitter to join our team at Purely Recruitment Solutions. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing high-quality stone surfaces in kitchens and other areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Measure, cut, and install stone surfaces to fit kitchen countertops, splashbacks, and other designated areas.
  • Use specialized tools to shape and polish stone for a seamless finish.
  • Prepare surfaces by levelling, smoothing, and treating them before installing countertops.
  • Apply finishing touches to ensure a high-quality installation, including sealing stone surfaces to protect against stains and damage.
  • Review and interpret kitchen design plans and blueprints to determine dimensions, specifications, and materials required for the installation.
  • Safely transport and handle heavy materials, such as stone slabs, using appropriate equipment and techniques.
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations to ensure safe working conditions for yourself and others.
  • Communicate with clients to understand their preferences, offer advice, and ensure satisfaction with the final installation.
  • Provide clients with information on maintenance and care for stone surfaces.
Requirements
  • Experience in kitchen or stone fitting.
  • Valid driving licence.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
