About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Manager to join our team at JCA Engineering. As a key member of our Construction team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety, health, and environmental well-being of our employees, contractors, and clients on our construction sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions to mitigate risks.
  • Provide guidance and training to employees and contractors on health, safety, and environmental procedures and best practices.
  • Investigate incidents and accidents, and implement measures to prevent recurrence.
  • Collaborate with project managers and site teams to ensure that health, safety, and environmental considerations are integrated into project planning and execution.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory bodies, clients, and stakeholders to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of health, safety, and environmental data, including incident reports, training records, and compliance documentation.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in the construction industry.
  • Technical Member of IOSH (Tech IOSH) or equivalent certification.
  • Thorough knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations, including ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
  • NEBOSH Construction Certificate or equivalent.
  • Emergency First Aid certification.
  • CSCS Card.
