Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a Drama and Theatre Examiner. As a GCE A Level Moderator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and consistency of our examination process.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct moderation of centre assessment of candidates' work in accordance with agreed assessment criteria and Pearson's procedures.
- Undertake direct assessment of school-based components in the subject where centres opt not to make initial assessments.
- Complete and submit centre reports to the Team Leader or Principal Moderator as required.
Requirements
- One academic year's worth of teaching experience within the last 8 years and within the relevant qualification and subject.
- A degree or equivalent qualification.
- Qualification as a teacher.
Competencies
- Ability to work well under pressure.
- Ability to meet deadlines.
- High level of subject knowledge to apply the mark scheme.
