CNC Miller Role Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to work as a CNC Miller, responsible for setting up and operating CNC milling machines to perform precision machining operations.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Setup and programming of CNC milling machines, including reading engineering drawings and writing or adjusting CNC programs as necessary.
  • Machining operations, modifying machine speeds, tooling, and cutting paths to achieve precise results.
  • Quality control, inspecting finished components for accuracy and consistency.
  • Maintenance tasks, including cleaning, lubrication, and tool replacements to ensure smooth running of the machines.
About You:
  • Experience operating CNC milling machines is essential.
  • Proficiency with tools and performing routine machine maintenance.
  • Familiarity with CNC programming and interpreting technical software.
  • Ability to work rotating early and late shifts with flexibility to meet business needs.
The Role Offers:
  • Salary: Up to £33,000 per annum, dependent on shift allowance.
  • Pension: 5% company contribution, with a minimum 3% employee contribution.
  • Holidays: 25 days of holiday plus statutory days.
