Job Summary

The Data Analytics SME will lead the development and implementation of CLUK's data analytics approach, working closely with the Internal Audit team and global data analytics SMEs to develop capability and share best practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Map CLUK data architecture to extract and use data for risk assessment and audit delivery
  • Identify opportunities for data-driven audit planning and delivery, including developing data-driven audit tests and procedures
  • Support audit work through data-driven testing using Power BI and other data analytics tools
  • Act as a data analytics champion, sharing knowledge and practice across the CLUK Audit Team and Data Analytics Community of Practice
  • Develop a data-driven approach to continuous monitoring through data-driven testing
Requirements
  • Subject matter expert in data analytics for the UK audit team, with experience in mapping data from complex systems
  • Advanced Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs, IF functions, pivot tables, and chart creation
  • Experience with data analysis tools, such as Power BI, IDEA, Salesforce, and Tableau
  • Confident in handling and manipulating numerical data and calculations
  • Knowledge of assurance principles and Python coding desirable
