Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced HGV Technician with a thorough understanding of commercial vehicle mechanical dynamics.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct inspections on a diverse fleet, including main dealer HGVs, refuse collection vehicles, road sweepers, hook loaders, light commercials, trailers, and tippers.
  • Routine and preventative maintenance, MOT preparation, scheduled servicing to DVSA standards, weekly inspections, correction of running defects, chassis and fabrication work, hydraulics and pneumatics, improvement of vehicle standards, and electrical and wiring inspections and corrections.
Requirements:
  • Fully qualified (City & Guilds), NVQ, or equivalent.
  • Additional accreditations such as IRTEC desirable, as is a HGV Class 1 license.
Compensation Package:

£40,000 - £47,500 per annum, plus night shift bonus, OTE over £55,000.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled HGV Technician to join our client's team and contribute to the success of their workshop.
