Your Role
As an Electrical Systems Engineer at Oxa, you'll play a crucial part in designing, developing, and deploying electrical and electronic systems for our fleet of autonomous test vehicles. You'll work closely with our Vehicle Engineering team to progress prototype concepts through to robust integrated solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Designing and developing electrical and electronic systems for autonomous vehicles
- Working with suppliers to implement high-quality drive-by-wire installations
- Defining and creating physical hardware solutions for drive-by-wire systems
- Designing and debugging CAN bus communication systems
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify design and functional requirements
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- A degree in Engineering, Robotics, Computer Science, or a related field
- Prior experience working with vehicle control systems, drive-by-wire systems, or general vehicle integration
- Experience with field testing complex systems, such as autonomous platforms or robotics projects
- Proven experience with electrical design projects
