Job Title: Assessment Officer

Job Summary:
As a key member of the rent collection service team at Housing Gateway Ltd, you will be responsible for delivering effective, proactive, and customer-focused collection services to tenants in rent arrears. Your primary goal will be to work collaboratively with tenants to set up payment arrangements and maximize their income, ensuring a positive and professional experience for all parties involved.

Key Responsibilities:
• Work effectively as part of a team to contact tenants in rent arrears and assist them in setting up payment arrangements and income maximization.
• Collaborate with relevant partners to ensure effective engagement with vulnerable and challenging customers.
• Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of national and corporate policies, procedures, and statutory legislation to ensure compliance and effective service delivery.

Requirements:
• Essential experience in rent collection services and customer-focused collection services.
• A good general standard of education is required.

Working Arrangements:
• 36 hours per week.
• The team is based at the Civic Centre.
