About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Legal Cashier to join our successful law firm in Lancaster, Lancashire. As a Legal Cashier, you will be responsible for processing payments, dealing with client enquiries, and ensuring compliance with legal and financial regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process payments on a daily basis
  • Deal with payments, petty cash, and bills
  • Respond to client enquiries efficiently
  • Control all banking and produce cheques
  • Prepare financial reports as required
  • Assist with Credit Control as needed
Person Specification

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A good working knowledge of SRA regulations
  • Confident and organised
  • Knowledge of solicitor's accounting systems
  • Strong communication skills
  • Experience within a legal accounting function
