Our Team

Our team consists of over 60 Registered Veterinary Nurses (RVN) and 31 recognized specialists in surgery, internal medicine, ophthalmology, oncology, neurology, cardiology, dentistry, diagnostic imaging, and anesthesia.

Your Role and Responsibilities

We are currently recruiting for a friendly Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our swing shift team. This position plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of wards, exemplary client care, and high-quality in-patient care throughout the evening at our hospital.

One of the main responsibilities of this role is to conduct Nurse discharges, ensuring that our clients receive the vital information they need to feel comfortable in continuing their pet's care once home. In addition to Nurse admissions, settling these patients into the hospital and preparing them for their procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Nurse discharges and ensure clients receive vital information
  • Admit patients into the hospital and prepare them for procedures
  • Work collaboratively with the veterinary team to ensure high-quality patient care
  • Provide exemplary client care and ensure a smooth running of wards

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to be:

  • A Registered Veterinary Nurse with the RCVS
  • Self-motivated and proactive
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English
  • Passionate about animal care and welfare

Desirable Criteria:

  • Experience working in a veterinary referral hospital or willing to learn new clinical skills
  • Minimum of 2 years experience as an RVN
  • Additional veterinary qualification
