About the Role:
GSL Education is seeking a dedicated and passionate Behaviour Coach to join our team at our vibrant school in Grays. As a Behaviour Coach, you will play a crucial role in supporting students in managing their behaviour, boosting their confidence, and helping them stay on track with their academic goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide targeted one-on-one and group support to students with behavioural challenges.
- Implement behaviour management strategies and monitor student progress.
- Work closely with teachers and support staff to create a positive classroom environment.
- Help students develop coping skills, resilience, and self-discipline.
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to ensure consistency in behaviour management.
- Track attendance and behaviour data, identifying patterns and areas for improvement.
Requirements:
- Experience working with young people, particularly those with behavioural needs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to build positive relationships with students.
- A proactive and adaptable approach to supporting student needs.
- Passion for making a difference in young people's lives.
Please note: This role requires a strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection, and successful applicants must satisfy all background safer recruitment checks, including an enhanced DBS registered to the update service or willingness to apply for a new one.
