
Rodent and Aquatic Care Technician

We are currently looking for an experienced Rodent and Aquatic Care Technician to join our team at CV-Library in Coventry.
This exciting opportunity offers a chance to work with a dynamic team, assisting in day-to-day life science research.
The successful candidate will have the chance to develop their skills and knowledge in animal care and welfare, working closely with senior staff members.
Main Duties- Maintenance of animal enclosures and equipment
- Health checks of animals to ensure they are free from injury, disease, pain etc.
- Supporting senior staff members in their daily tasks
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the workplace
- Previous experience working with animals in a research environment, specifically with rodents and aquatics
- Understanding of animal welfare principles and practices
This role requires a dedicated individual with a strong commitment to animal care and welfare. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to work well under pressure.
Estimated Salary: £32,000 - £42,000 per annum
