Finance Director

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Director to lead our Finance Team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in local government finance and be able to inspire their team to achieve high performance.
As a key member of our leadership team, you will work closely with the Chief Finance Officer to deliver our Medium-Term Financial Plan. You will also deputise for them as needed.
To succeed in this role, you must have excellent communication skills, be dynamic and resilient, and have the ability to influence and negotiate across a range of diverse subjects and audiences.
The salary for this position is £64,463 - £69,816 per annum, depending on experience. We offer a range of benefits, including participation in the Local Government Pension Scheme, cycle to work scheme, and salary sacrifice car lease scheme.
In addition, you will benefit from free parking in our office car park and discounted local gym membership. As part of our commitment to work-life balance, we also offer payment of one annual professional fee (if applicable).
