Job Title: Principal Teacher

This is a part-time Principal Teacher position available in Kilsyth Primary School, North Lanarkshire Council.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing the school's curriculum, teaching and learning, and staff development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the school's curriculum, teaching and learning, and staff development.
  • Develop and implement effective teaching and learning strategies to improve student outcomes.
  • Manage and supervise teaching staff, including performance management and professional development.
  • Collaborate with other school leaders and staff to achieve school goals and objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in teaching and leadership roles.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with others.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development.
