Job Title: Multi Trade Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Multi Trade Engineer to join our team at Liberty. As a Multi Trade Engineer, you will be responsible for providing a high-quality and cost-effective heating system maintenance and repair service, as well as carrying out high-quality building and remedial works to domestic properties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Boxing in of pipework
  • Joinery, including shelving to cupboards, skirting boards, and refitting wall units
  • Patch plastering
  • Brickwork
  • Laying concrete slabs/trenches for oil lines
  • Fitting electric fire suites
  • Fitting pipework/radiators/valves/condenses
  • Building work following solid fuel recommendations
  • Ensuring all works are carried out to a high standard
  • Completion of all relevant paperwork
  • Ensuring customer satisfaction and safety
  • Participating in out-of-hours works
  • Working to operational procedures, safe working practices, and H&S procedures
  • Reporting of all accidents, near-miss events, or potential hazards
  • Undertaking all other maintenance works within remit
  • Working flexibly with a diverse range of customers
Requirements:
  • Experience of working as a Multi Trade Engineer
  • Competence in all aspects of the Joiner and/or Plumbing trade discipline
  • Plastering trade discipline (desirable), experience essential
  • Ability to carry out multi-skill trades
  • Housing Association experience is essential
  • Hold a CSCS card, have asbestos awareness, and have own tools
  • Understanding of gas legislation
  • Understanding of Health and Safety and working to best practice
  • Full driving license
