About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and self-motivated Cleaning Operative to join our team at Royal Mail Property & Facilities Solutions. As a Cleaning Operative, you will be responsible for maintaining the high standards of service our customers expect.
Key responsibilities include:
- Maintaining a clean and safe environment for our customers and employees
- Operating a variety of cleaning equipment and machinery
- Ensuring all areas are cleaned to a high standard, including mopping, toilet cleaning, washing walls, vacuuming, emptying bins, dusting and sanitising surfaces
- Working independently and as part of a team to achieve cleaning goals
About You
We are looking for someone who is naturally friendly, with good written and verbal communication skills. You will be able to communicate with customers and managers whilst complying with Health & Safety regulations.
The ideal candidate will be reliable, self-motivated with a keen eye for detail. You will be able to work on your own initiative, organising your own time, as you will be managed remotely.

What happens next?
After you apply, your application will be reviewed and if you are successful you will be invited to a telephone assessment. This call will last around 15-20 minutes, consisting of 7 questions. There will not be a face to face interview in this process.
