Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our dynamic night team at Southern Counties Veterinary Specialists. As a key member of our multidisciplinary referral hospital, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and contributing to the growth and development of our nursing team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality nursing care to inpatients across our different wards, including medical and surgical cases.
  • Work collaboratively with our anaesthesia team and specialists to ensure seamless care and support for patients.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of nursing protocols and procedures to enhance patient care and outcomes.
  • Contribute to the training and education of junior nursing staff and students.
  • Engage in quality improvement initiatives to drive excellence in patient care and nursing practice.
Requirements
  • Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) qualification and experience in a similar role.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Excellent clinical skills and attention to detail, with a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and bank holidays.
  • Willingness to participate in ongoing professional development and training.
