We zoeken een ervaren Operations Manager voor onze unit Machining. Als Operations Manager ben je verantwoordelijk voor de dagelijkse leiding van de productieprocessen en het team van teamleiders. Je bent verantwoordelijk voor het behalen van de doelen op het gebied van kwaliteit, foutreductie, veiligheid en milieu, de gezondheid, het welzijn en de prestaties van je mensen.

Verantwoordelijkheden

  • Je managet de teamleiders en zorgt samen met hen dat de productie volgens planning, budget en kwaliteit verloopt.
  • Je coördineert de werkzaamheden en aflevering met vertegenwoordigers van onze klanten en hebt volledig inzicht in de status van de opdrachten, zodat je tijdig kunt bijsturen.
  • Je stuurt op continue verbetering van de teams en verbetert waar mogelijk ook onze standaarden.
  • Je bent verantwoordelijk voor het behalen van de doelen op het gebied van kwaliteit en foutreductie, veiligheid en milieu, de gezondheid, het welzijn en de prestaties van je mensen.
  • Je creëert en onderhoudt onze open en eerlijke cultuur, waarin mensen veilig zijn en werken, elkaar respecteren en er voor elkaar zijn, en hun verantwoordelijkheid nemen.
  • Met collega's draag je bij aan de strategieontwikkeling en -implementatie volgens het Hoshin-Kanri-proces.

Werkervaring

  • Je hebt een bachelor of master in een relevante richting, zoals werktuigbouwkunde, lucht- en ruimtevaart, of gericht op Total Productive Maintenance.
  • Je hebt ruime managementervaring in productie en/of onderhoud, reparatie en revisie.
  • Je hebt aantoonbare ervaring met procesverbetering en verandertrajecten in een productieomgeving.
  • Je hebt ervaring met Lean in een productieomgeving.
  • Je spreekt en schrijft goed Engels. Ook Nederlands is belangrijk, omdat veel mensen in je unit geen Engels spreken. Spreek je nog niet goed Nederlands, dan maak je je de taal snel eigen.
