Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Healthcare Worker to join our team as a Personal Assistant/Healthcare Worker to provide support and care to an individual with Huntington's Disease.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide person-centred care and support to the individual, including assistance with daily living tasks and personal care.
- Work in a collaborative environment with the individual's family and other care professionals to ensure seamless care and support.
- Develop and maintain a strong relationship with the individual, built on trust, respect, and open communication.
- Assist with household tasks and maintain a safe and comfortable living environment.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to ensure up-to-date knowledge and skills in care and support.
Requirements
- Experience working in a care and support setting, preferably with individuals with disabilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical ability to perform tasks that require standing, walking, and lifting.
- Permission to work in the UK.
