Job Title: Senior Quantity Surveyor - Groundworks and Civil Engineering Expert

About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Buildout Recruitment. As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for controlling costs of commercial groundworks schemes, including schools, student accommodation, hospitals, prisons, steel frame warehouses/sheds, car dealerships, roads, supermarkets, and car parks.

Key Responsibilities:

* Control costs of commercial groundworks schemes
* Collaborate with project managers and site teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
* Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues

Requirements:

* Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor in the groundworks and civil engineering industry
* Strong knowledge of construction law and contract administration
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
