Retrack Personnel Holdings Limited is seeking a talented CNC Machining Specialist to enhance our team.

The primary focus of this role is to program, set up, and manufacture precision components for the aerospace sector.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop programs for CNC Milling machines with 3, 4, and 5 axes utilizing Fanuc and Sinumerik controls.
  • Engage in offline programming using EDGECAM software.
  • Set up machines and produce initial components to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards.
  • Document machine setup procedures effectively.
  • Stay informed about the latest technological advancements to drive continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with management to adhere to project timelines and proactively address any challenges.
  • Provide technical support to production management.
  • Work closely with Engineering and Quality Assurance teams to uphold quality benchmarks.
  • Maintain exemplary housekeeping practices in the work area.
  • Assist colleagues as necessary and mentor new team members when appropriate.
  • Ensure a safe working environment by following Health and Safety protocols.
  • Contribute to other relevant tasks as needed.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • GCSE qualifications in English, Maths, and Science (C grade or higher).
  • Proven experience in CNC programming, setting, and operation, preferably within the aerospace industry.
  • Expertise in CAD/CAM offline programming with EDGECAM.
  • Proficient in editing programs using Fanuc and Sinumerik controls.
  • Familiarity with both Metric and Imperial measurement systems.
  • Computer literate with a keen attention to detail.
  • Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Capable of managing pressure and meeting deadlines effectively.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • Experience programming 3, 4, and 5 axis machines.
  • Completion of an Engineering Apprenticeship is advantageous.

WORKING HOURS:

Monday to Thursday: 8am – 5pm, Friday: 8am – 1pm.

SALARY:

£20.28 per hour.
