Defence Procurement Opportunity
Bramwith Consulting is seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team in the Defence sector. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for leading strategic sourcing and procurement transformation initiatives for both public and private sector clients within the Defence sector, with a focus on construction and infrastructure procurement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the full procurement lifecycle, from supplier negotiations and contract management to project delivery and cost optimisation.
- Engage with senior stakeholders across key defence projects to understand their procurement needs and deliver tailored solutions.
- Ensure compliance with Defence procurement regulations and work within security-cleared environments to drive value and innovation.
- Proven experience in procurement within the Defence sector, particularly in infrastructure or construction categories, though other categories will be considered.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to engage with high-level defence clients and manage complex procurement projects.
Requirements:
- A background in strategic sourcing and commercial procurement, with a track record of delivering cost savings and operational improvements.
- Experience working with defence procurement regulations and frameworks, ensuring compliance and best practices in security-sensitive environments.
- Exposure to public sector procurement and regulations is beneficial but not essential.
