We are seeking a highly skilled Merchandiser to join our team at Paul Mitchell Associates. As a Merchandiser, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing and distribution business.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate with various offices and factories to manage production schedules and ensure timely delivery of products.
- Interact with customers and suppliers to handle lab dips, strike-off approvals, and bulk deliveries.
- Oversight of the critical path to ensure production meets quality and quantity standards.
- Manage in-house purchase orders, including tracking and monitoring of orders.
- Maintain a tracker of samples and components dispatched to factories.
- Ensure weekly production plans are received from factories and updated accordingly.
- Arrange freight import quotes and monitor progress.
- Minimum of two years of experience in a similar working environment.
- Effective communication skills, ability to thrive under pressure, and a can-do attitude.
- Strong problem-solving capabilities and adaptability to new systems and processes.
- Proficiency in IT and Excel.
We offer a competitive salary and the opportunity to work with a flourishing company that values its employees and strives to empower them to achieve their maximum potential. The role is a full-time office-based position, Monday to Friday, 8.30am - 5pm, with a salary of £24-£26K (subject to experience) and benefits including 20 days holiday (rising to 25) + Bank Holidays, pension, and on-site parking.
