Senior and Principal Flood Risk Modellers

Our Sustainable Water Management Team at WSP is seeking experienced professionals to drive the delivery of flood risk management projects. As a Senior or Principal Flood Risk Modeller, you will have the opportunity to lead or contribute to projects, working with external and internal clients, and overseeing junior hydraulic modellers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical leadership for fluvial and pluvial modelling projects, utilizing flood modelling software such as li>
  • Support business development by identifying prospective opportunities and leading proposal preparation
  • Manage projects, including commercial and financial aspects
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Collaborate with other disciplines within the water team to deliver projects
Requirements:
  • Relevant experience in flood risk management, infrastructure projects, or local authority/national government
  • Commercial experience, including project management and bid preparation
  • Desirable skills: GIS, Flood Risk Assessments, UK flood risk policy (NPPF and TAN15)
