As a Care and Support Professional, you will be responsible for assisting individuals with their daily life activities, including personal care, mobility, and medication. You will also have the opportunity to engage in social activities, such as going for walks, enjoying nature, and participating in arts and crafts.
Bury has a growing demand for adult social care employees, and we are working with a range of providers, from large organizations to smaller independent homes and community services. Our positions offer a competitive hourly rate, ranging from £11.44 to £12.50, with additional payment for night work.
To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate compassion, commitment, and the ability to work hard in sometimes challenging situations. You will also need to have a strong understanding of the work involved and experience caring for others. A Health and Social Care qualification is preferred but not essential for all jobs.
Benefits of this role include the opportunity to work in a variety of settings, including people's own homes, support living arrangements, and residential care settings. You will also have the opportunity to work with a range of individuals, each with their own unique needs and requirements.
Requirements for this role include a UK driver's license, access to your own car, and the ability to work at least one weekend shift per month. Travel expenses are reimbursed monthly, and shifts can vary from part-time to full-time.
