Band 6 Professional Development Nurse

We are seeking an experienced Band 6 Charge Nurse to join our team at Albany Lodge, a 24-bedded acute mental health assessment and treatment ward. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to service users experiencing mental health crisis.
Key Responsibilities- Provide mental health support and care to service users
- Act as the charge nurse for the unit, leading shifts and providing clinical supervision to junior staff
- Be responsible for a designated group of patients, assessing their needs and planning, implementing, and evaluating care
- Lead ward rounds, handovers, and other meetings regarding patient care
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with colleagues, carers, and other stakeholders
- Leadership and management training to support your career development
