Oxford, Oxfordshire, United Kingdom Simply Education Ltd Full time

At Simply Education Ltd, we are seeking a dedicated and caring individual to join our team as a Nursery Support Practitioner. In this role, you will work closely with children who require additional support due to Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). Our nursery is committed to providing outstanding care and education for all children, and we believe that every child deserves the best possible start in life.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  1. Working directly with children who have SEND, supporting their individual learning and development, in-line with their care plans.
  2. Providing cover for the Key Person's responsibilities, allowing them to focus on specific children's needs.

To succeed in this role, you should have some experience of caring for children under five who live with SEND, ideally within a nursery environment. You must be naturally nurturing, caring, and compassionate, able to provide effective care and support to meet individual children's developmental and care needs. Your excellent communication skills will enable you to build strong relationships with colleagues, parents, and carers, ensuring seamless teamwork and collaborative approaches.

We offer an hourly pay rate ranging from £12.00-£14.84, depending on your qualifications and experience. This salary takes into account the demands of working with children with SEND, requiring patience, empathy, and dedication. We understand the importance of attracting talented professionals to our team, which is why we strive to provide a supportive and inclusive work environment.

If you're passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and families, we encourage you to apply for this rewarding opportunity. Please note that successful candidates will undergo an enhanced DBS check and provide essential qualification certificates and references, with full support from our recruitment team throughout the process.
