Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with clients, consultants, and contractors throughout all phases of the project lifecycle, ensuring effective communication and timely delivery.
  • Take proactive leadership in driving project design outcomes, resourcing, and budget management to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Manage client relationships, fostering trust and identifying new opportunities for growth and success.
  • Lead business development efforts, including preparing tenders and securing new consultancy work.
  • Provide guidance, training, and mentorship to team members to support their growth and success.
  • Oversee business operations, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and strategic objectives.
  • Maintain accountability for financial performance and take ownership of profit and loss.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 10+ years of experience in structural engineering design and project delivery, preferably in the London market.
  • Chartered Engineer status, with a strong understanding of industry standards and best practices.
  • Proven track record of securing consultancy projects and an established reputation within the industry.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing and delivering diverse structural projects across various market sectors.
  • Excellent leadership abilities, including mentoring and team development, with a focus on staff retention and recruitment.
  • Strong technical expertise, proven problem-solving skills, and effective communication skills.

Estimated salary: £92,500 (basic + innovative company + immediate start + Central London + stability + international company + work-life balance)
