Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Night Shift Line Leader to join our Production team at Hilton Foods. As a Night Shift Line Leader, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production line, while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Production Management: Manage the daily production function of the line/team, ensuring all shift goals are delivered in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Communication: Ensure all information relating to your production line is communicated effectively to the team and/or Production Manager.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that Full Traceability is achieved for every batch of product through accurate recording of paperwork.
  • Process Improvement: Support the Production Manager in the implementation and improvement of procedures and processes to ensure the highest standard of work is produced.
  • Team Development: Positive motivation of colleagues and assisting in progressing the team's development needs through cross-training and continuous assessment of requirements.
  • Performance Management: Monitor staff performance and escalate any poor or underperformance.

Requirements:

  • Leadership Experience: Previous experience managing teams, ideally in a food production environment.
  • Health and Safety: Health & Safety experience and focus.
  • Self-Motivation: Self-motivated, good time management.
