About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Dalgety Bay Care Home. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall well-being of our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Care Planning and Coordination: Develop and implement personalized care plans in collaboration with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Medication Management: Safely administer medications, adhering to MAR sheets and protocols.
  • Health Monitoring and Support: Perform routine observations, manage specific health needs, and provide hands-on assistance when required.
  • Team Leadership and Collaboration: Organize and guide your team at the start of each shift, ensuring clear roles and responsibilities.
  • Communication and Relationship Building: Foster strong connections with residents, families, and healthcare professionals, addressing concerns with empathy and respect.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Active NMC PIN and registration as a Registered General Nurse (RGN) or Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN).
  • Experience: While care home experience is beneficial, we welcome applications from nurses with a passion for care and a commitment to improving residents' lives.
  • Skills and Attributes: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with people of all ages and backgrounds. A calm, patient demeanor, and a natural ability to lead and motivate others.
